Recommendation of the Week: 08/29/10 - 09/05/10

'To Desire A Devil' by Elizabeth Hoyt
"NOTHING IS MORE INTOXICATING—
Reynaud St. Aubyn has spent the last seven years in hellish captivity. Now half mad with fever he bursts into his ancestral home and demands his due. Can this wild-looking man truly be the last earl’s heir, thought murdered by Indians years ago?
OR DANGEROUS—
Beatrice Corning, the niece of the present earl, is a proper English miss. But she has a secret: No real man has ever excited her more than the handsome youth in the portrait in her uncle’s home. Suddenly, that very man is here, in the flesh—and luring her into his bed.
THAN SURRENDERING TO A DEVIL.
Only Beatrice can see past Reynaud’s savagery to the noble man inside. For his part, Reynaud is drawn to this lovely lady, even as he is suspicious of her loyalty to her uncle. But can Beatrice’s love tame a man who will stop at nothing to regain his title—even if it means sacrificing her innocence?"Source

-Elizabeth Hoyt has some of the HOTTEST stepback covers I've seen on historicals thus far. My repertoire is surly lacking for not having read something by her yet. But after reading the blurb to this particular book, I knew it had to be fast tracked to the top of my TBR pile! If you've read this book, or any other by EH, tell me your opinion!

  2. I LOVED this series! And her last series! And I am about to start her newest!

My personal opinion, since I am way OCD about book order, is to read this one last after the other three. They all build on each other a bit and knowing stuff from the other books may make this one better.

But if you don't want to thats alright too, it is still a good book by itself.

  4. Chris-April (lol) Bookmarks make everyone happy!! lol Make sure you enter the swagilicious giveaway when it goes up on the 31st and you'll get a bookmark and THEN some! / Wow, Favorite? I knew she was good, but it takes a lot for an avid reader to actually name a fav, so she is now a 'must-get-to-immediately' in the TBR pile!

@ Julia, YES! another person who is OCD about book order. I really like the blurb to this, but all the books look good. I'll be on the look out for book 1 (To Taste Temptation) which had an EVEN HOTTER stepback cover! lol

@Johanna, I think I saw Raven Prince in my library's holdings. I'll look into it, but I am glad to conspire against your free time and give you more books to read!! lol! <3
