Let me join in the chorus: Happy New Year everybody. I hope your 2011 surpasses your 2010 in all thing!
Now that that's out of the way, It's time to acknowledge the amazing year I've had! Ask me 9 months ago what I thought 'Not Another Romance Blog' would amount to, and I probably would have rolled my eyes and said something smarmy. I never expected to meet so many amazing readers, writers, and other bloggers, I never thought I would have obtain the 411 on so many amazing books I would have otherwise missed, I never thought I would actually reach a substantial amount of followers. But you guys proved me wrong. I started this blog and it's just become way more than I thought possible. It's my outlet, the place I go when I have to get my feelings out about a specific novel, the place I came to announce to the world I am just as crazy as everybody else ;). I am just really happy I've been able to connect with a few of you, get the opportunity to read awesome books, and haven't been given some letter of cease and desist.
This year, 2011, will be a huge year for me and the blog! We'll hit our 1 year 'Blogoversay' in April, I'll be finishing up my first semester in college (which means a summer of rebelling and book reading), I'll be going to my first romance book convention (RWA 2011 in NYC, it's going to be amazing!), just a lot of personal and blog-fessional growth! In the new year, I am going to change my tactics a bit. I want to connect more, so I'll be making sure to spend more/equal time on all the networking sites I've added (i.e. Twitter, GoodReads,Pocketbook After Dark, and good ole' Facebook). I want to post more diverse content! More ebook reading and random posts. And I also want to get you follower and fans involved! I'll figure it out as I go along, but for now, let's concentrate on one month at a time.
The month may change,The YEAR may change, but the mission stays the same: To make your followership of Not Another Romance Blog worthwhile!
Here's some of what to expect this month:
-It goes without saying, but I am doubly determined: More Reviews!
-More Personal posts/ Random Posts
-More Book World and Publishing News
-More tweets, Goodreads updats, ect (not always relating to the blog)
-Fun? Oh, definitely!
...And so much more...
I look forward to the month of January and the amazing weeks that will just fly by!
Until Next Post<3...
