Author Interview with Eileen Dreyer

I am SO excited to present to you guys this interview with dynamo author Eileen Dreyer. She is truly a woman and author we call can learn so much from. Her life experiences thus far are the kind that make small girls in big towns like me lust for adventure and look on enviously. Today, she's here to talk about her latest release, 'Never A Gentleman',
and her life as an author.
So without further adieu, let's get to chatting with my special guest :

New York Times bestselling, award-winning  author Eileen Dreyer, known as Kathleen Korbel to her Silhouette readers, has published 28 romance novels, 8 medico-forensic suspenses, and 7 short stories.
2010 saw Eileen extend her range into historical romance. BARELY A LADY, the first book in her DRAKE'S RAKES series for Grand Central, garnered a place on multiple 'best of' lists. With 2011's NEVER A GENTLEMAN, she continues to follow the lives of a group of British aristocrats who are willing to sacrifice everything to keep their country safe. Eileen spent time not only in England and Italy, but India to research the series (it's a filthy job, but somebody has to do it).
Dreyer won her first publishing award in 1987, being named the best new Contemporary Romance Author by RT Bookclub. Since that time she has also garnered not only five other writing awards from RT, but five RITA Awards from Romance Writers of America, which secures her only the fourth place in the Romance Writers of America prestigious Hall of Fame. Since extending her reach to suspense, she has also garnered a coveted Anthony Award nomination."Read more on the bio page of Eileen's Website

Diccan Hilliard doesn't know which of his enemies drugged him and dumped him in Grace's bed, but he does know the outcome. He and Grace must marry. To his surprise, a wild, heady passion flares between them. Yet Diccan is trapped in a deadly game of intrigue Grace knows nothing about. 'Never A Gentleman' by Eileen Dreyer –Review-

Read an excerpt: here

Fresh, different, absorbing- all apt words to describe this latest installment to the Drake’s Rakes series by Eileen Dreyer. A special kind of romance you have to read to believe! I couldn’t get over how much the characters, plot, and circumstances affected me during and after reading. I wanted to run over the Hero in my car, whack some sense into a heroine I ended up loving, and all the while, I crossed my fingers for their happily ever after. This book pushed the limits and sets itself apart from other historicals in a daring way. Never A Gentleman is quite simply a read to remember!

'What I Did For A Duke' by Julie Anne Long -Review-

Read an excerpt: here
It requires a lot of talent to take a beloved and classic literary trope such as the ‘revenge turned romance’ plot and make it into something a reader hasn't read before. “What I Did For A Duke was as surprisingly fresh and vibrant as it was clever and passionate. Right from the beginning you see the plot going one way, when suddenly, Julie Anne Long takes it to Mars and back. The story quickly enthralls and readers will become emotionally invested in the outcome with each turn of the page.

Author of the Month: March 2011

Maya Banks
"Maya Banks lives in Texas with her husband, three children and assortment of pets. When she's not writing, she can be found hunting, fishing or playing poker."source

Bio from Author Website:
"My name is Maya Banks and I live in Texas with my husband and three children and our assortment of pets. I’m more of a cat person, but my daughter became convinced she NEEDED a dog. So convinced in fact that it became her mission to convince her father and me. She prepared a two page handwritten proposal that detailed WHY she needed a dog, and well, after I sent her to her father (I knew he wouldn’t tell her no) we embarked on the search for the perfect dog. The journey that was two hours away and that I got pulled over for speeding while I was on the phone with my agent who had an offer from a publisher for one of my books… The officer wasn’t impressed. He wrote me a ticket anyway. Thus, I now tell my daughter that her dog turned into one very expensive concession! [...]

Product Review-CSN Stores: Sauder Beginnings Bookcase

Howdy, fellow shopaholic!
So, I've been telling you guys for a while now how great CSNstores is. I recently received a product review opportunity with CSN and decided I would make my first product review on the blog one with significance. You may recall my 'TV Top Bookshelf' or my constant bitchin' on twitter about Mount TBR which has taken over 80% of my bedroom floor. I never had my own, personal bookcase before, and now that I am a full fledged bookophile, the need for one was undeniable.
There's something symbolic about having your own bookcase; it says "I am literate, here me roar....ROAR!", well, at least that's what it does for me and after countless hours of refreshing the FedEx tracking page and organizing my books into piles and categories for easy shelf-transition: the time has come!!
But first, let's start from the beginning!:
Below I will detail my recently shopping experience with CSN Stores. (please note: I was not influenced in any way by receiving the promo gift card towards my purchase. This is an honest review of my shopping experience and the quality of the product I receive. No BS!)

So here's what I purchased:
A beginners bookcase (so fitting)
In a cinnamon cherry finish
